Boon Silver Jewelry Care Recommendations
Thank you for purchasing a Boon newborn/toddler bracelet. We want you to get the most enjoyment out of your purchase, so we are providing you with the following recommendations for how to care for your bracelet.
Our bracelets are made of solid sterling silver that may tarnish when exposed to air or certain acids. To help reduce tarnishing, we recommend storing your Boon bracelet in an airtight container when it is not being worn. A plastic zipper-closure bag works well for this. Never allow your bracelet to come into direct contact with chlorine and other bleaching agents or ammonia. Never store your bracelet in direct contact with wood, rubber bands, or any kind of acidic papers, as these may potentially cause tarnishing. If your Boon bracelet does become tarnished, use a non-abrasive, non-toxic cream or polish recommended for silver, or a polishing cloth impregnated with a non-toxic polishing compound to restore its original shine.
